For the last two years the restaurant has been under the management of Gilbert Renaud, former right-hand man to Philippe Chevrier at the Domaine de Châteauvieux, and his wife Nathalie. The Auberge Communale du Grand Donzel extends a warm and friendly welcome to you.
The restaurant has chosen to offer you a regularly updated menu, featuring exquisite dishes prepared from fresh local and seasonal produce. Set in its own grounds right next to the Vessy sports complex, our
restaurant is the perfect family destination. Grown-ups can enjoy a leisurely meal while keeping an eye on their children having fun outside.
Inside there is a large dining-room which can seat up to 100 people, the perfect location for dinners and events such as birthdays, weddings, christenings...
Also on the ground floor, a small private dining-room with a TV screen can seat up to 20 guests and is particularly suitable for watching sports events or for a family meal.
Upstairs, there is a conference room with Wi-Fi for business meetings and dinners. Lastly, outside, our garden terrace can easily accommodate 120 people for dinner or simply to have a drink in the sun.
So, the Auberge Communale du Grand Donzel is the perfect venue for large gatherings and for family meals.
The bar is also open all day for those who want to relax over a drink. Furthermore the café-restaurant offers a very attractive wine list with a wide range of wines from the Geneva area, as well as a wide range of hot and cold drinks.
